Program Enrollment Terms

Enrollment Process

When you enroll in a silent-cylinder program, you enter into a binding agreement to participate in the selected program and pay the associated fees.

Payment Terms

• Full payment is required at the time of enrollment
• All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD)
• Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider
• We accept major credit cards and bank transfers

Refund Policy

• Full refund: Available if you withdraw within 7 days of enrollment and before the first session
• Prorated refund: Available up to the midpoint of your program, minus a 15% administrative fee
• No refund: After the program midpoint
• Refunds are processed within 14 business days of approval

Rescheduling and Transfers

• You may transfer to a different program or session with at least 14 days notice
• Transfers are subject to availability
• One free transfer is allowed per enrollment; subsequent transfers incur a $75 AUD fee
• Enrollment cannot be transferred to another person without our written approval

Participant Responsibilities

Attendance

Regular attendance is expected. If you miss more than 25% of scheduled sessions without prior approval, we reserve the right to terminate your enrollment without refund.

Conduct

Participants must:

• Treat instructors, staff, and other participants with respect
• Follow all safety guidelines and instructions
• Arrive on time and prepared for sessions
• Disclose any food allergies or dietary restrictions
• Maintain appropriate hygiene standards

Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors may result in immediate termination without refund:

• Harassment or discriminatory behavior
• Intoxication during sessions
• Violation of safety protocols
• Recording sessions without permission
• Commercial use of program materials without authorization

Intellectual Property

Program Materials

All program materials, including recipes, techniques, videos, and written content, are the intellectual property of silent-cylinder and protected by copyright law.

Limited License

You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use program materials for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not:

• Reproduce materials for commercial purposes
• Distribute or share materials with non-participants
• Publish materials online or in print
• Create derivative works without written permission

Liability and Disclaimers

Assumption of Risk

Cooking involves inherent risks including cuts, burns, and allergic reactions. By enrolling, you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all safety instructions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, silent-cylinder and its instructors are not liable for:

• Personal injuries occurring during programs
• Allergic reactions to ingredients
• Damage to personal property
• Results achieved from applying learned techniques
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Insurance

We maintain general liability insurance, but participants are encouraged to have their own health insurance coverage.

Health and Safety

Medical Conditions

You must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions that may affect your participation. We cannot guarantee accommodation of all restrictions.

Food Safety

While we follow proper food safety protocols, we cannot guarantee that all dishes will be suitable for consumption by individuals with severe allergies or compromised immune systems.

Website Use

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the website
• Interfere with or disrupt the website or servers
• Transmit viruses or malicious code
• Collect user information without consent

Account Security

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

Photography and Recording

We may photograph or record sessions for promotional or educational purposes. By enrolling, you consent to being photographed or recorded. If you do not wish to appear in promotional materials, please notify us in writing.

Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule programs due to insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will receive:

• A full refund, or
• The option to transfer to another program

Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand our data practices.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Governing Law
